Yesterday, I asked DS if he wanted to go to Toys R Us to see if they had the Lego Advent Calendar for this year. He was playing one of his on-line games when I asked this. He said “No I am good.”
What! The kid that would give his right arm to go shopping for toys said “No I am good”. This made me mad and very sad at the same time. Mad because I really wanted to see if we could find the Star Wars one. Sad because my little boy is not interested in toy stores anymore. This means he is not interested in toys anymore so all he will get for the holidays from here on out is gift cards and money.
It is official he is growing up. Soon we will be looking at colleges for him to go to. Next year he is going to be a Senior in High School. How did this happen?

I just peeked at that Advent calendar. Sweet stuff for Star Wars fans!
