No I am not trying to be a punk kid.
I pierced my nose on Wednesday, yes I am 39 and I had a hole poked in my nose. Oh, and if for some reason my Mom is reading my blog. Just remember it could be worst, it is not as permanent as the tattoos that I have. And, why are you reading my blog anyway?
Back to the nose, I have been wanting to do it for sometime now, but never did. It am a grown up and it is not a grown up thing to do, now is it. It is something that crazy kids to to stick it to the “man” or what ever they are rebelling against. But in other parts of the world it is part of the culture. While I am not some punk kid, or a Hindu women. So I guess you want to know why I would do this, right?
I have tattoos and 4 earrings in each ear, so I don’t really fit in to the clean cut part of society. I am also not over the top crazy with the body art, so not really fitting in there either. But I decided that I wanted to get my nose pierced for really no other reason then I can. I am an adult, I have a job so I can pay for it. There is no mid life crisis, or cry for help, no one has to worry about that. I want to be more like the me I want to be. Besides no one at work noticed today the piercing artist did a great job at placement.
How do you be more like the you that you want to be.?
No iPad Were Harmed In The Typing Of This Post

This is my set up most of the time (not that this is my photo) But I found out that if I use that some keyboard with my iPhone there is really not need for the iPad for blogging. This is something I didn’t know before I shelled out the cash for my iPad. With that being said it is not going to be gathering dust all un-loved it is still my main blogging tool. That is what it was pouched for after all. I know that there are a lot of people out there who are not able to use it for “work” as it where, and while my “work” stuff is really nothing more hobbies I can see where we maybe comparing apples and kumquat. I really like being able to write on something that fits in to my handbag. While it has not replaced my laptop it is the go to “I am leaving the house to some where and write” tool. The whole reason I for the Blue-tooth keyboard is because if I am going to be writing for a long time the hover typing is a P.I.T.A. But on those occasions when I have not posted something and can not make it to the local work Starbucks for wi-fi I can post from my iPhone using the blue tooth keyboard. This will make the whole post a day thing is not much of a burden, I hope.
Deadlines…we don't need any stinking deadlines

I know that the post the last few days have not been so happy, some may even say that they where downright depressing. Well, that is a fair assessment of them. I feel that I slowly losing myself, to the darkness that is the stress in my life. I think that part of the problem is the fact that I have not taken any time out for my stuff. I am awesome at doing thing for everyone else but suck badly at the things that are important to me. There are a few things that I do constantly that are for me, like the blogging. There are other things that I have on a list in my head that I would like to do. One of the big ones is my on-line store on Artfire, one of my goals is to make an honest go at it, to see if I can make stuff that people will buy there. I have been crafty my whole life and it would be nice if could turn this hobby into something that I can make a little money off. A person only needs so many hair bows or scarves. I find some relief in the act of creating something. And maybe that is what has been missing in my life right now.
I don’t seem to put the importance on that. I have tons of great, timely ideas but some how I just don’t do anything about them. I need to set deadlines, and start treating it like it was something for someone else. That may be the only way that I am going to do it. so each week I am going to try to have one new items for my shop. I have most of the items that I need to make the stuff that Iwant to do right now. I am a crafty person with that one ends up with supplies that I can use for other projects. I have all the stuff to take good product photos to post. I guess what I am lacking is self confidence that it will work. I guess there is no way to know until I try. This weeks project is a fabric headband that has a some bendable wire in it so that you can security around your head.
I also have some pattern that I will mostly likely never make so I will list them as well, that way they can find a good home with someone who will use them to make pretty things.
